Scott Lane has been a recognised global leader in governance and compliance for over 25 years. With a background in both technology and law, Scott began his career in private practice, moving into regional legal and compliance roles before deciding to build technology solutions for the governance and compliance industry. He is a recognised expert in several ESG risk areas, including anti-corruption, sanctions, ethics and integrity, workplace issues, human rights and human trafficking, and governance. Scott is a successful entrepreneur and pioneer in the development of solutions across the compliance industry. His focus is on driving automation in the industry by leveraging technology to develop solutions that help businesses not only manage ESG issues, but add value by significantly contributing to their operations, reputation, community engagement and profitability. Scott is the founder and CEO of Speeki®, a group focused on transforming ESG from being an annual report subject into an embedded operational solution to manage risk across an organisation. At Speeki, Scott leads the global team and focuses on key clients and projects that change the way those clients think about ESG, governance and compliance.
